In July 2020, Carman started preparing to tell his life story for a feature film. From growing up as a street-fighting kid in New Jersey to becoming the most sought-after, in demand artist in Christian music, Carman Licciardello became the only Christian solo act to perform in stadiums. In fact, he still holds the record for the largest Christian concert. He has sold over 10 Million albums, had 15 albums go gold or platinum, holds the record for longest #1 album on Billboard CCM charts (33 weeks) and his "The Champion" stayed on the Billboard sales charts for a record 168 weeks! Yet, the accomplishment he held most tightly until he took his final breath was bringing millions of people to Jesus Christ through his concerts. It's what he wanted to be known for.

As Carman began to describe his childhood with older brother Mario and how someone like him; the least likely to become... who he became, ended up singing in arenas and coliseums and leading millions to the Lord, it was evident that his life needed to immediately be made into a major film. Carman was in the middle of this project when his heart suddenly stopped on Feb 16th, 2021. We have all been grieving and still feel the unspeakable loss of our friend, but we also know how important this work was to him. About a month before he passed away, he said "Instead of retiring, I'm re-firing". If he were here, he would say "Come on, let's go win one more to the Lord". This was truly what he cared about the most. 

This movie will surprise you, but it is all true. The script is done, and Carman's legacy has just begun.
